Heatless Curls part 2

Okay, this is my heatless curls tutorial, i don't really know what to call them though;D I find these really easy to do and they produce simple, effortless, twisty curls:)

1) Seperate the hair into 2 sections and tie them with hair bobbles.

2) Twist them around your fingers. The tightness of the curl depends on how tight you twist.

3) Holding the end, wrap the twist around the bobble.

4) Secure it in place with hair grips/clips. I usually use about 8 - 12 grips (but I'm a bit of a rough sleeper).

5) Do this on both sides of the head. If you have thick/long hair, you can seperate the hair into 3 or 4 sections instead.

6) Sleep on these for a whole night (I know they're uncomfortable, but we have to suffer to be beautiful;D).

7) In the morning, take them out, and comb through with your fingers. Spray with hairspray (I use lots!) and thats it!:)

P.S. do you like my amazing The Big Bang Theory t-shirt? Bazinga!
Hope you enjoyed it! Byeeeeee!!:)

Hair | Heatless Curls- Cocoon Curls

So we are going to start a series of blog posts showing you all the different heatless curling methods we know. I chose cocoon curls as our first post because they require NO tools and are really easy to sleep on. Okay lets go! <33

1) You want to start with hair thats about 60% dry, make sure it is all combed through so that there are    no tangles left in you hair.

2) Then just split your hair into three sections.

3) Then take a small section of hair and twist it tightly all the way from root to tip.

4) Okay so this is where it gets tricky so I'm going to put it in really small steps. First you want to lay two fingers over the twist you just created.

5) Okay this is really the trickiest bit, the lighting was really bad yesterday evening so I decided to take another photo just recapping the steps today. So after laying the two fingers over the twist lift it up.

5) And then wrap it around the fingers and the down again. I know hard to understand... but basically all you are doing is wrapping the twisted hair around your two fingers.

6) So we should be at this step now. I know the angle has changed  but it is the same place as before :)

7) So now with the remaining hair twist, just wrap it around the little loop, so it kind of looks like a cocoon!

So, your taking you twist across,

Round,

And back, keep repeating this until you left with a small end about 5-7cm.

8) Now grab that end with the two fingers and pull it part-way through the loop leaving a little tail on the other side.

This tail is so it is easier to undo the cocoon the next morning.

9) Okay so finally grab the cocoon at the top and pull it down to secure it.

So there is you first cocoon, it does take some practise but when you get the hang of it its really good!

I know my face is a little weird but these are screen shots from a video (my camera had an objection to taking photos yesterday :/)  so its hard to find a decent expression :).

So there the cocoons all over the head, now these are pretty secure but if you want to keep them safer, then you can take a headscarf and wrap it around your head like this:

Then you can just sleep ^__^

Now to undo the cocoon just pull on the little tail that we made before.

And voila! I just like to separate the curls with my fingers a little so the are a bit looser.

And now just hairspray it to keep them lasting all day!

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial, see you soon!

Make-up | New Make Up Look!!

So I was looking through the beauty section in British Vogue for make-up inspiration and I've found a trend I have always loved and I'm happy it has returned. Smudged eyeliner is an easy and foolproof make-up look. In spring also love dewy skin and huge Bambi lashes, thats why I loved what the models from Gucci wore at Milan Fashion Week. It was simple, fresh but still really striking.

Photo taken from http://www.vogue.co.uk/beauty/2012/10/04/spring-summer-2013-make-up-trends---catwalk-beauty/gallery/9

So I have some key products that you can use to achieve this look. I have not tried all of these products, so just bare that in mind if you are considering buying! :)

1) Highlighter

This is the high beam highlighter from benefit,
I am going to be purchasing this product so I
will give a review at some point but I have used
benefit products before and they have been really
good! So I trust them :)

2) Brown Eyeliner

I couldn't find an image with just the eyeliner
that I wanted but I wanted the darkest shade
out of the four, these are from The Body Shop,
again not bought them but I tested them at the
shop and I found they were really good! But
really any good quality eyeliner would be fine!
You could even change brown for cobalt blue
to follow the bright colour trend!

3) False eyelashes

These are Katy Perry Lashes created by
Eylure, they are really bold and also
don't have a large black strip on them so
they are easier to wear with brown eyeliner.
I will also be buying a pair of these so I will
                  review them for you!

4) Lip balm

Because most of the focus is on the eyes you
want to keep the lips minimal, so I would
recommend a lip balm with a hint of colour
like the Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter,
personally I would go for a paler shade than
this one here but its really up to you! ;)

Okay that's it I guess, I will post a tutorial soon on how to get this look!

Nails:)

Hiya, its Tilly<3 i got an easy nail tutorial for you guys:)
I dont really know why the pictures are sideways/upside down;D
Okay, lets go!!<3

1) Paint one coat of a clear polish. I used Sally Hansen Miracle Growth. It really does work, for me anyway:)

2) Paint your nails two thin coats of white (or as many as it takes to make it opaque). Make sure to do two thin coats rather than one thick one to make it dry quicker.

3) Paint a line diagonally across the nail using a pale pink polish. You can go over this if it isn't opaque

4) Using a thin striper brush, paint a silver/glittery line either side of the pink.

5) Finish off with a clear top coat, clean up around the nail with a cotton bud dipped in acetone/nail varnish renover and you're done:D!

This design can be changed to use any colours you want to:) comments are always appreciated<3

DIY | Studded Braceleto

Okay so I promised I would upload the tutorial so here it is!

What you'll need:

Elastic

Pencil

Studs

 Scissors

 Fabric Glue

        1) Measure the elastic so it fits your wrist, leave a little space for the tab that will hold the bracelet together.

2) Mark out the tab, it should be around 1-2 centimeters away from the end of the elastic

              3) Push the stud through the elastic.

                      4) Now take the scissors and bend the prongs of the studs inwardly.

5) Stud from one side all the way along to the tab mark. DON'T STUD THE TAB!

                  6) Now use the scissors to cut off the remaining elastic.

                    7) I used nail scissors to cut off all the really fine bits of elastic.

                     8) Finally, glue the bracelet together by gluing the little tab to the other end of the bracelet!
Then leave it to dry and your finished!

Hope you enjoyed it!

Hellloooo! xxx

I went to Meadowhall today and I took some photos on my phone of things I was considering buying but I wanted a second opinion, so I took a few photos of stuff I like and some things I really don't....

Okay so this is the first thing:

I didn't get them in the end but I might go back and get them I don't know yet...what do you think??

Okay....personally I am not a fan....I guess it looks better on camera but it was made up of tiny little sparkling beads and the pink was quite bright. If you like it I don't mean to offend, its just not me.

I love the gold one!! I might put it in my room, its a money bank I think but I might just use it as decoration....I haven't bought it yet because I was slightly unsure but I don't know....

I really liked this when I saw it BUT I then went home and found some studs I used when I was making a sweater and I discovered a way to make my own! I will post a tutorial shortly :).

Doesn't this look so yummy! I might buy it for the fun! :D
I really love this skirt, I might buy it when I have more money, I think it will look cute in spring!

I probably wont buy this but I do like it, its just quite expensive and I've got one quite similar....

I hope you enjoyed this!
