So recently I have really been into stripes on anything, if an item of clothing has stripes I will instantly adore it! I think that stripes instantly add retro to your wardrobe. I think pin stripes are particularly cute because they are just really vintage-y and look really pretty. I also think that stripes can really suit anyone if you can find the right way to wear them.

Okay I think that is it really!

Lets all go on holiday!!:)

Hey guyzz:D We haven't posted since like Easter so sorry!! But here we go, here's a post.
So last night I got back from Spain (first time abroad, eep!!). I went on an exchange with school for a week. I'm just gonna say, it was the best experience of my life. I'm not joking or exaggerating, it was fab. If any of you have the opportunity to do an exchange, do it. You make loads of new friends, foreign and from your country, and you make a ton of memories. It is such a great thing to do, and if you stay in touch with your exchange you have a friend for life, and maybe you can go back and stay with them again in the summer or something (I really want to go and stay with Irea again, I miss her and her family loads).
So I just thought I'd make a post with some advice about going on holiday. I'll do another one specifically about exchanges later.

1) If you are travelling by plane, weigh your suitcase before you leave the house/hotel/wherever. This didn't happen to me, but its a horrible feeling wondering if your suitcase is too heavy or not. Its even worse if it is too heavy, then you have to take some stuff out and put it in your hand luggage or a friends suitcase, or if you can't then you have to pay. Its not good, and its easier just to weigh it beforehand and then you can take out all 7 Harry Potter books you were planning on bringing if your suitcase is too heavy.
2) Be sparing with the clothes you bring. Do you really need 7 pairs of jeans, 6 skirts, and 4 pairs of shorts when you're only going for a week? Of course, bring more clothes than you need in case of weather changes, going out in the evenings, or just being plain clumsy and dropping food down yourself every time you eat like me. But you don't need your whole wardrobe.
3) Be realistic with the clothes you bring. I went to Spain, and I expected screaming hot weather and not a cloud in the sky. That was not the case. For the last 3 days, it rained and rained. I didn't have much else, so I was stood there in shorts in the pouring rain. It wasn't that bad because it wasn't cold, just wet. Bring some emergency clothes in case the weather suddenly decides it hates you.
4) Have your passport or boarding card or ticket or whatever you need ready. If you are at the front of a queue to have your passport checked, which you have been in for 15 minutes, and your passport is at the bottom of your bag, then people want to punch you. It is annoying, and when you're tired and you just want to go home its one of the worst things for someone to do. You don't have to have it in your hand, just an easily accessible pocket/compartment of your bag.

That's all I can think of right now, if I think of anything else I will put it in a new post. I hope you found these little tips useful:)

So bye beautifuls, if any of you are doing an exchange or going on holiday soon have a wonderful amazing time and I love youu!!:)

Completed Look | Happy Easter!

Hi! I know we haven't posted in a looong time but since we were near easter I thought I might post a few outfit ideas and an eye make up look for easter!

I will start with the eye make up. By the way my left eye may look a little irritated but that is only because I scratched myself in the eye by accident before taking photos, so sorry about that!!

So basically all I did here was line my eyes with a brown pencil as I do normally and then applied a bright colour to me lower lash line. You can use any colour but I have bluey-green eyes and violet is supposed to really bring out my eyes. Then I finished with mascara! Really simple but a great effect when your finished!

Okay so I chose 3 different outfits....here they are:

This outfit is for those of you who want to be dressy, yet still comfy. I am just wearing my white dress from ark and over the top I have a flowy goddess top.

This isn't really an outfit as such, more just a dress but it is my favourite dress right now , it is an orange tie-dye dress from ark with roll up sleeves and it comes just above the knee and its just so pretty I had to show you guys!

The photo here is not as good but it was taken on my phone but this outfit is for the more chilly days for example if you are outside in an easter hunt (in Britain where it is like -2 degrees!) Here I am wearing my Ralph Lauren jumper tucked into my floral skater skirt from ark and underneath I just added some tights.

Hair tutorials for what I am wearing here might not be up before easter but they are coming soon!!

This is a really easy outfit to recreate, we just tucked a plain white vest top into this dip-dye skirt and the shoes are just some simple brogues.

Stuff!!<3

Hey guyzzzz!! I already told you it was my birthday on Friday:'D I just wanted to show you some more of new favourite things I got!!<3
1) Popcorn Lip Scrub from Lush. Lush is the best shop in the world. Their lip scrubs are perfection in a little pot. You scrub them onto your lips to make them smooth, then lick off the excess. Or eat it straight out the tub;D It tastes great and is safe to eat because Lush hate to use any kind of chemicals in their products. They do Popcorn, Bubblegum and Mint flavour.

2) Caramel Cream lip butter from Nivea. These lip butters are amazing. They make your lips smell great and they have a lot of moisturising properties to make your lips less dry and cracked (which my lips are almost 24/7) I apply this straight after my lip scrub. They go together really well (come on guys, basic maths here -  caramel + popcorn = :D) and they both help to make your lips absolutely perfect. The other flavours that I know of are Vanilla and Raspberry, although there are almost definitely more.

3) M&M scented candles from the 99p store. Do I have to explain these? I have Red Hot Apple Cinnamon and Crisp Vanilla, but there are loads of other flavours that I can't remember.

4) Lollipops from Sugacane. For those of you that don't know, Sugacane is an amazing sweet shop. They also sell American sweets, which us Brits adore. The one in the picture is Raspberry Ripple, but I also received about 10 others. There are about 50 flavours: Birthday Cake, Rum&Raisin, Tutti Frutti, Red Bull, Dr Pepper, Cookies&Cream. Like I said, there are loads of flavours and I just can't remember any more.

Wow, that turned out to be a longer post than I thought. I highly recommend all these products. Tell me if you have tried any, or if there is another topic you want us to cover. I will probably be doing a nail tutorial soon too:)
Byeeeee!!!<3

New shoes!!<3

Hiyaaa!!<3 So yesterday was my birthday, I am now 14 years old!! Yay!! I got a TV for my room, & some money but I am sure you all know what a TV & money looks like, so I am just gonna show you the new shoes I bought:D!!

They are pretend Doc Martens from Primark. They cost £18 pounds each (which is why I got both;D). The pair on the right are patent leather, and the pair on the left are fabric floral. I love them both so much!!:) I have seen lots of people wearing patterned DMs, but I wasn't sure where to get them. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on real DMs when my feet are still growing so, for me, these are a great cheap alternative!!<3

Like I said, I got mine from Primark, but I also know you can get them from H&M (mainly because Eva got hers from there;D). Although they are boots, they look great with dresses or skirts as well as jeans or leggings.

Bye, I love you all!!<3

Hair care | Body Shop

Recently I have been loving these hair care products from the Body Shop, they are seriously amazing!

First off this little duo is the most amazing shampoo and conditioner I have ever used! Even though it can be used on any hair type I would definitely recommend this for blonde girls because it contains real banana puree it brightens your hair and really make it shine. Favourite hair product ever!!

Next is the Cottonseed Curl Booster. Now I have naturally straight/wavy hair but I love to curl my hair and this curl boost is a kind of heat protector and curl enhancer. Its main purpose is to de-frizz hair and make it bouncy and voluminous but because my hair isn't really very frizzy I just use it to enhance my curls, I might even post some pictures showing the difference between when I curl my hair with this product and without just so I can show the seriously amazing difference!

I know its a short post but I just wanted to show the amazingness of The Body Shop hair products that I use!

P.S I know I used amazing a lot didn't I? ;)

Heatless Curls part 2

Okay, this is my heatless curls tutorial, i don't really know what to call them though;D I find these really easy to do and they produce simple, effortless, twisty curls:)

1) Seperate the hair into 2 sections and tie them with hair bobbles.

2) Twist them around your fingers. The tightness of the curl depends on how tight you twist.

3) Holding the end, wrap the twist around the bobble.

4) Secure it in place with hair grips/clips. I usually use about 8 - 12 grips (but I'm a bit of a rough sleeper).

5) Do this on both sides of the head. If you have thick/long hair, you can seperate the hair into 3 or 4 sections instead.

6) Sleep on these for a whole night (I know they're uncomfortable, but we have to suffer to be beautiful;D).

7) In the morning, take them out, and comb through with your fingers. Spray with hairspray (I use lots!) and thats it!:)

P.S. do you like my amazing The Big Bang Theory t-shirt? Bazinga!
Hope you enjoyed it! Byeeeeee!!:)

Hair | Heatless Curls- Cocoon Curls

So we are going to start a series of blog posts showing you all the different heatless curling methods we know. I chose cocoon curls as our first post because they require NO tools and are really easy to sleep on. Okay lets go! <33

1) You want to start with hair thats about 60% dry, make sure it is all combed through so that there are    no tangles left in you hair.

2) Then just split your hair into three sections.

3) Then take a small section of hair and twist it tightly all the way from root to tip.

4) Okay so this is where it gets tricky so I'm going to put it in really small steps. First you want to lay two fingers over the twist you just created.

5) Okay this is really the trickiest bit, the lighting was really bad yesterday evening so I decided to take another photo just recapping the steps today. So after laying the two fingers over the twist lift it up.

5) And then wrap it around the fingers and the down again. I know hard to understand... but basically all you are doing is wrapping the twisted hair around your two fingers.

6) So we should be at this step now. I know the angle has changed  but it is the same place as before :)

7) So now with the remaining hair twist, just wrap it around the little loop, so it kind of looks like a cocoon!

So, your taking you twist across,

Round,

And back, keep repeating this until you left with a small end about 5-7cm.

8) Now grab that end with the two fingers and pull it part-way through the loop leaving a little tail on the other side.

This tail is so it is easier to undo the cocoon the next morning.

9) Okay so finally grab the cocoon at the top and pull it down to secure it.

So there is you first cocoon, it does take some practise but when you get the hang of it its really good!

I know my face is a little weird but these are screen shots from a video (my camera had an objection to taking photos yesterday :/)  so its hard to find a decent expression :).

So there the cocoons all over the head, now these are pretty secure but if you want to keep them safer, then you can take a headscarf and wrap it around your head like this:

Then you can just sleep ^__^

Now to undo the cocoon just pull on the little tail that we made before.

And voila! I just like to separate the curls with my fingers a little so the are a bit looser.

And now just hairspray it to keep them lasting all day!

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial, see you soon!

Make-up | New Make Up Look!!

So I was looking through the beauty section in British Vogue for make-up inspiration and I've found a trend I have always loved and I'm happy it has returned. Smudged eyeliner is an easy and foolproof make-up look. In spring also love dewy skin and huge Bambi lashes, thats why I loved what the models from Gucci wore at Milan Fashion Week. It was simple, fresh but still really striking.

Photo taken from http://www.vogue.co.uk/beauty/2012/10/04/spring-summer-2013-make-up-trends---catwalk-beauty/gallery/9

So I have some key products that you can use to achieve this look. I have not tried all of these products, so just bare that in mind if you are considering buying! :)

1) Highlighter

This is the high beam highlighter from benefit,
I am going to be purchasing this product so I
will give a review at some point but I have used
benefit products before and they have been really
good! So I trust them :)

2) Brown Eyeliner

I couldn't find an image with just the eyeliner
that I wanted but I wanted the darkest shade
out of the four, these are from The Body Shop,
again not bought them but I tested them at the
shop and I found they were really good! But
really any good quality eyeliner would be fine!
You could even change brown for cobalt blue
to follow the bright colour trend!

3) False eyelashes

These are Katy Perry Lashes created by
Eylure, they are really bold and also
don't have a large black strip on them so
they are easier to wear with brown eyeliner.
I will also be buying a pair of these so I will
                  review them for you!

4) Lip balm

Because most of the focus is on the eyes you
want to keep the lips minimal, so I would
recommend a lip balm with a hint of colour
like the Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter,
personally I would go for a paler shade than
this one here but its really up to you! ;)

Okay that's it I guess, I will post a tutorial soon on how to get this look!

Nails:)

Hiya, its Tilly<3 i got an easy nail tutorial for you guys:)
I dont really know why the pictures are sideways/upside down;D
Okay, lets go!!<3

1) Paint one coat of a clear polish. I used Sally Hansen Miracle Growth. It really does work, for me anyway:)

2) Paint your nails two thin coats of white (or as many as it takes to make it opaque). Make sure to do two thin coats rather than one thick one to make it dry quicker.

3) Paint a line diagonally across the nail using a pale pink polish. You can go over this if it isn't opaque

4) Using a thin striper brush, paint a silver/glittery line either side of the pink.

5) Finish off with a clear top coat, clean up around the nail with a cotton bud dipped in acetone/nail varnish renover and you're done:D!

This design can be changed to use any colours you want to:) comments are always appreciated<3
